The stories I write are fantasy — but the emotions beneath them are real.
When people first step into an epic fantasy world, they often notice the dragons first.
The wings cutting across a storm-dark sky.The castles rising from mist-covered mountains. The ancient swords, forgotten prophecies, forbidden magic, and kingdoms trembling beneath the weight of destiny.
And I love every bit of that.
I love the wonder.
I love the danger.
I love the feeling that anything could happen when a character stands at the edge of everything they have ever known and chooses to take one more step forward.
But for me, fantasy has never only been about the spectacle. It has always been about the heart beneath it.
The wound beneath the crown. The courage beneath the armor. The grief beneath the prophecy. The love beneath the sacrifice. The hope still burning when the world has gone dark.
That is the fire beneath my fantasy.
That is why I write.
Fantasy Gives Emotion Wings
Epic fantasy gives me room to take the emotions we all understand and paint them across a larger sky.
Grief can become a cursed kingdom.
Hope can become a phoenix rising from ash.
Love can become a sword of light in a battlefield of shadows.Fear can become a dragon at the gate.
Faith can become the quiet strength that helps a character stand when everything inside them wants to fall.
That is what I love about fantasy.
It allows ordinary feelings to become extraordinary journeys.
A broken heart can shape a bloodline. A single choice can echo across centuries. A hidden wound can become the key to saving an entire realm.
In my stories, magic is never only magic. It is memory. It is consequence. It is power, yes — but it is also pain, healing, sacrifice, and transformation.
The worlds I create are filled with ancient curses, celestial wars, dark fairytales, dragons, phoenixes, angels, warriors, kings, queens, mages, and monsters.
But underneath all of that, my stories are about people.People trying to survive what should have destroyed them.People trying to love when love costs them everything.
People trying to rise when darkness has written their ending before they ever had a chance to begin. That is where the real story lives. Not only in the magic. But in the heart brave enough to carry it.
The Power of Legacy
One of the themes I return to again and again is legacy.
Not just royal legacy. Not just magical bloodlines. Not just crowns, kingdoms, and ancient names carved into stone.
I mean the kind of legacy that lives inside families, choices, wounds, promises, and sacrifices.
In my worlds, curses are never just spells.
They are echoes.
They are the pain of the past reaching into the present. They are the consequences of choices made long before the current heroes were born. They are the weight of bloodlines, broken vows, hidden betrayals, and unfinished battles.
But I do not write curses because I believe darkness is powerful.
I write them because I believe breaking them is.
There is something deeply moving to me about a character standing in the shadow of everything that came before them and deciding, “This ends with me.”
That kind of courage matters.
The courage to break cycles. The courage to face what others buried. The courage to carry a family name, a kingdom’s hope, or a wounded heart — and still choose light.
That is why legacy is such a powerful part of my storytelling.
Because legacy is not only what we inherit.
It is also what we choose to heal. It is what we refuse to pass on. It is what we fight to redeem.
In the worlds of Sterling Scrolls, bloodlines may carry curses, but they can also carry courage. Kingdoms may carry scars, but they can also carry hope. Families may carry pain, but they can also carry love strong enough to change the ending.
And that is the kind of story I want to tell.
Love Is the Flame That Endures
If there is one truth that runs through everything I write, it is this:
Love matters.
Not soft, easy love. Not love that only exists when the road is bright and the battle is far away.
I write about the kind of love that stands in the fire.Love that protects.Love that sacrifices.
Love that forgives. Love that remembers. Love that fights. Love that refuses to abandon someone just because the darkness has come close.Sometimes that love is romantic.Sometimes it is the bond between family.
Sometimes it is friendship forged in danger. Sometimes it is loyalty between warriors. Sometimes it is a ruler’s love for their kingdom. Sometimes it is the quiet, unbreakable connection between a hero and the magical creature who chooses them.
And sometimes love is the only thing standing between a soul and the darkness trying to claim it.
That is why my author tagline means so much to me:
Born of Flame. Bound by Fate. Rescued by Love.
Because in my stories, love is not weak.
Love is fierce.
Love is the hand reaching through the storm. Love is the voice calling someone back from the edge. Love is the promise made when victory seems impossible. Love is the flame that keeps burning long after hope should have gone out.
I believe love can be one of the most powerful forces in a story.
Not because it makes everything easy.
But because it gives characters a reason to keep fighting when everything becomes hard.
Why I Write Warriors
I write warriors because I believe courage is not the absence of fear.
It is the decision to keep walking while fear is still whispering.
The characters I love most are not perfect. They are not untouched by pain. They are not always certain, fearless, or ready for the burden placed upon them.
They doubt.
They grieve.
They break.
They make mistakes.
They carry wounds no one else can see.
But they rise.
That is what makes them powerful.
Not because they never fall — but because they do not stay fallen.
I am drawn to characters who have to become stronger than the story that tried to destroy them. Characters who are chosen by destiny, yes, but still have to choose themselves. Characters who inherit impossible burdens and somehow find the strength to carry them with grace, fire, and heart.
Warriors are not only made on battlefields.
Sometimes they are made in quiet moments.
In the decision to forgive. In the courage to hope again. In the strength to protect someone else while your own heart is breaking. In the willingness to stand for light when darkness would be easier.
That is why my stories are filled with warriors.
Queens with wounded hearts.
Mages with dangerous power.
Angels torn between duty and love.
Phoenixes born from ruin.
Dragons guarding ancient truths.
Girls and women who discover that they were never as powerless as the world tried to make them feel.
To me, a warrior is anyone who keeps choosing light.Even when the night is loud.
The Worlds Behind Sterling Scrolls
Sterling Scrolls is more than a website name to me.
It feels like a doorway.
A place where all my worlds can breathe. A place where readers can step into kingdoms shaped by magic, bloodlines, prophecy, sacrifice, and hope.
Here, you will find the worlds of Rosefalcon, where ancient curses consume generations and kingdoms rise beneath the weight of destiny.
You will find the celestial fire of the Forbidden Series, where angels, gods, love, and war collide across thousands of years.
You will find dark fairytales reimagined through blood, beauty, heartbreak, and redemption.
You will find dragons, phoenixes, griffins, warriors, queens, forbidden love, ancient magic, and characters who are forced to discover who they truly are when everything they love is on the line.
But more than anything, I hope you find heart.
I hope you find stories that sweep you away, but also stay with you after the final page.
I hope you find characters who remind you that being wounded does not mean being defeated.
I hope you find kingdoms worth fighting for.
I hope you find love that feels powerful.
I hope you find hope burning in unexpected places.
And I hope, somewhere along the way, you feel invited to believe that even the darkest stories can still carry light.
What I Hope Readers Feel
When someone reads one of my stories, I want them to feel transported.
I want them to see the mountains, hear the wings, feel the storm, and stand beside the characters as the world trembles around them .
But I also want them to feel something deeper.
I want them to feel the ache of sacrifice. The thrill of courage. The beauty of loyalty. The danger of destiny. The tenderness of love. The wonder of magic. The hope of redemption.
I want readers to turn the page because the adventure is exciting — but also because the characters matter.
Because their wounds matter.
Their choices matter. Their love matters. Their fight matters.
That is the kind of fantasy I want to write.
Fantasy with fire.
Fantasy with feeling.
Fantasy with sweeping worlds and intimate hearts.
Fantasy where darkness is real, but never final.
Because to me, the most powerful stories are not the ones where nothing bad happens. They are the ones where something beautiful still rises anyway.
